Alex Faig

Alex Faig litigates a wide variety of civil litigation disputes on behalf of businesses and individuals in Virginia. His practice focuses around federal civil litigation in the Eastern District of Virginia (“EDVA”) in addition to business torts, contract, and trademark and copyright-related disputes throughout Northern Virginia.

Alex has successfully briefed and argued dispositive and non-dispositive motions in the EDVA and in state courts throughout Northern Virginia. He has also handled federal judicial settlement conferences and successfully negotiated settlements on behalf of his clients.

Alex’s representative matters include obtaining a temporary restraining order, preliminary injunction, and dismissal of counterclaims on behalf of a non-profit seeking return of organizational funds, negotiating favorable settlements in copyright-defense cases in the EDVA, and successfully opposing a 12(b)(2) Motion to Dismiss in the EDVA. His federal civil litigation experience also includes drafting and responding to written discovery, taking and defending depositions, and briefing and opposing summary judgment motions.

Alex Faig joined the law office after receiving his law degree from William and Mary Law School. Alex’s law school experience includes a judicial externship on the Court of Appeals of Virginia, as well as student advocacy with the Lewis B. Puller, Jr. Veterans Benefits Clinic and the William & Mary Family Law Clinic.

He handles matters primarily within the firm’s business representation and civil litigation practice.
